Free Hologram Resources
Hey LitiHolo,
I would like to achieve my dream of making holograms, so please send me some free hologram resources.
Sincerely,If you need a replacement laser or if you are experimenting with your own holography set up, purchase lasers from LitiHolo that we have tested and know will make great holograms.
5mW red holographic laser diode, operating at 635nm. This is a more visible red wavelength (almost twice as visible as deeper reds at 650nm), and has great response with our LitiHolo 2"x3" and 4"x5" Instant Hologram Film. This is the red laser we use for our Hologram Kits and Full-Color Hologram Kits.
Output beam is elliptical with divergence typically 12 degrees by 45 degrees, and linear polarization parallel to longer elliptical axis. Operates at 3V (using our Battery Pack with 2 AA batteries, or our 3V AC/DC Transformer), and should be used with the Heat Sink Clip for best holographic stability and lifetime preservation.
$26 | Buy Now20mW red holographic laser diode, operating at 650nm. A slightly deeper red but with the right power for making exposures with LitiHolo 6"x8" Film possible, making 4"x5" exposures faster, and making 2"x3" exposures really fast! This is the red laser we use for our 4"x5" and 6"x8" Upgrade Kits.
Output beam is elliptical with divergence typically 12 degrees by 45 degrees, and linear polarization parallel to shorter elliptical axis. Operates at 3V (using our Battery Pack with 2 AA batteries, or our 3V AC/DC Transformer), and should be used with the Heat Sink Clip for best holographic stability and lifetime preservation.
$64 | Buy Now5mW green holographic laser diode, operating at 532nm. A beautiful green color that makes great green holograms! A good green holographic laser has been very challenging to find, and we've been through several different choices and really like this one. This is the green laser we use for our Full-Color Kits and Upgrade.
Output beam is circluar with divergence typically 20 degrees, and linear polarization. Operates at 3V (using our C-Battery Pack with 2 C-size batteries, or our 3V AC/DC Transformer), and should be used with the Large Heat Sink Clip for best holographic stability and lifetime preservation.
$69 | Buy Now5mW blue holographic laser diode, operating at 445nm. Most blue lasers are either too deep in wavelength (violet) for good visibility, or are multi-mode and not stable for hologram use. So this is a real find! This is the blue laser we use for our Full-Color Kits and Upgrade.
Output beam is elliptical with divergence typically 10 degrees by 38 degrees, and linear polarization parallel to shorter elliptical axis. Operates at 3V (using our Battery Pack with 2 AA batteries, or our 3V AC/DC Transformer), and should be used with the Large Heat Sink Clip for best holographic stability and lifetime preservation.
$96 | Buy NowAll of our Hologram Kits come standard with battery operated power for the lasers. But if you are planning to do longer term work and will be using the system more frequently, you may want to eventually ditch the batteries. There is always a concern that your wall voltage might fluctuate slightly, and as a result the 3V transformer output might vary as well and create laser output that is not suitably stable for holograms. However, this transformer seems to have very good stability, and it is the one that we use at LitiHolo.
3V output, up to 700mA. Comes with a tip (as pictured), and allows connection of laser red wire to end of the tip, and connection of the black wire to the shaft of the tip. Easily integrates with the alligator clips used in LitiHolo kits. (Battery in picture is only for size comparison.)
$32 | Buy NowThis is the silver heat sink clip (in our kits sometimes called the Special Clip) for use with our red lasers. It is simple and cost effective, but has proven itself over the years to be a necessary component for these lasers to maintain holographic stability, and to keep the lasers from having a quick, unhappy death from overheating.
Zinc-plated steeel. Clips directly to barrel of laser.
$5 | Buy NowThis is the large brass heat sink clip (in our kits sometimes called the Large Special Clip) for use with our green and blue lasers. It is simple and cost effective, but has proven itself over the years to be a necessary component for these lasers to maintain holographic stability, and to keep the lasers from having a quick, unhappy death from overheating.
Brass. Clips directly to barrel of laser.
