WELCOME!
THE FIRST DESTKTOP 3D HOLOGRAM PRINTER
Make no mistake, this is a big deal! You are one of the first to have your very own 3D Hologram Printer.
This technology has really been limited almost exclusively to research universities and a few corporate labs, and each one is custom built and takes up an entire room of high-end lasers and optical equipment. Now, with your own 3D Hologram Printer, you can make your own holograms and create holographic portraits, holograms from 3D computer graphics, CAD designs, and 3D art.
Welcome to a new tool for hologram artists, hologram entrepreneurs, hologram engineers, and hologram educators. Welcome to your own personal 3D Hologram Printer!
1. Getting Started
SAFETY
Like any equipment, please treat your 3D Hologram Printer, materials, and accessories with respect and care to ensure a safe working environment and a smooth operating experience. Any modification of your printer without explicit approval and directions from LitiHolo will invalidate your warranty, potentially ruin the machine, and could be harmful.
Laser
Caution when working with lasers.
Your 3D Hologram Printer is a Class 1 Laser product. Accessible radiation is within Class 1 limits. The laser diode used inside the device has the following specifications:
Red laser (enclosed) - 600-650nm, 20mW max
Never remove the enclosure panels of the printer unless instructed to do so by LitiHolo. This will expose you to potential laser exposure and void your warranty. The exposed raw laser beam could be harmful to the eyes, so avoid direct contact. If this system is tampered with, or fails, there is risk of exposure to Class 3B laser light.
The laser in your 3D Hologram Priner complies with the following laser standards:
- EN 60825-1:2014
- Complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 except for deviations pursuant to Laser Notice No. 56, dated May 8, 2019
Supervision
The 3D Hologram Priner is an excellent tool for educational use. Please supervise young or inexperienced users to ensure enjoyable and safe operation.
Radio interference
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
GET READY
Choose a home for your 3D Hologram Printer
Size
Footprint: 21.5" x 20" x 11". Total height of 24" needed for clearance to open hood.
Weight: 28 lbs.
Solid surface
Pick a solid table, desk, counter surface, etc. This should be located in a quiet environment to minimize disturbances and vibrations. Choose an area that won't be bumped or otherwise disturbed during hologram printing.
Light control
The hood on the 3D Hologram Printer is first and foremost for safety to ensure minimum exposure to laser light from the system during printing. The hood does also provide a limited amount of shielding the hologram film from ambient light (blue is the least sensitive for the hologram film), and may provide enough light protection for short prints. However, for longer prints it is advised to locate the printer in a place that can have lower light levels or the ability to turn lights off.
Temperature control
The 3D Hologram Printer operates best at room temperature (70-72 ºF). Try to locate it somewhere that can maintain a stable and consistent temperature. Fluctuating temperatures and temperatures below 68 ºF or above 74 ºF may cause issues with consistent hologram quality.
2. Setting Up
Some basic information on what packages to expect in the mail when your 3D Hologram Printer arrives, upboxing your printer, and getting everything operational and ready to print holograms.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your 3D Hologram Printer will arrive in two separate packages:
