LitiHolo office flood

Last week on Friday, the LitiHolo offices suffered a major flood due to a burst hot water heater.  The office essentially filled like a bathtub, until water was gushing under the front door and down the parking lot and street.  When we arrived, the entire office was in about 1″ of water.  The hot water heater was located in the ceiling and upon arrival it appeared to be raining indoors in the center of the office.  I’ve included some video and pictures of our office.

Since Friday last week, we have truly felt under water, both physically and mentally.  We have been dealing with the immediate water extraction, the landlord, insurance companies, etc.  We are working on a triage plan, but it will take time.  We will let you know as soon as possible as the plan develops.

At the moment, I would really appreciate your thoughts and especially your prayers!  We are invested deep, and this hurts.

  1. I wish you courage to get everything back up and running.
I sent you several emails before this date of flooding of your premises without response from you.
could you answer me about the attempt to send my order: (Your Order #12038 (placed on August 20, 2023 9:18:47 AM EDT).
Thank you in advance and good luck.
    Mark.

  2. So sorry to hear/see that, what a shocker. I remember Yaling Huang in Taiwan once getting into the lab to find fish in the floor after a typhoon. Good luck with your recovery. You will prevail!

  3. oh no! hope the recovery is going smoothly!
I would also want to bring to your attention that you have not been answering emails from me (like Marc Borghcis comment above).
And like him would like to know when I could expect my order that I ordered on August 14, 2023.
    My order number is #12027
Hope you find time to start answering emails soon and send out orders.

    • hello hakon,
Like you, I placed an order on August 20, 2023 and I still have not received confirmation of shipment of 1 box 6×8 Hologram Film and 2 boxes 4×5 Hologram Film.
I have no responses to the various emails sent.
How to get a response from LITIHOLO.
      Kind regards, Marc Borghi.

    • Hakon, we did receive your emails, but it we have been poor about the responses at the moment since that was the first few days after the flood. We are trying to see how we can get operational again soon, and we will update when we have some information on that. Thanks.

  4. At litiholo
I see that you gave a response to Mr. Hakon which is very good and which proves that someone can provide information on the future shipment of their order.
I would also like to be reassured about the sending of my order, because I wondered if this site is really effective.
    Thanks in advance.
    Marc Borghi.

  5. i placed an order a few weeks ago i didn’t know about these problems, but will the orders leave ? it’s not a problem if there is some wait…but if they don’t leave i would like to be refunded

  6. I’m chasing my order from early september #12076 – have tried phoning and emails but heard nothing. Sorry about your problems but could really do with an update on what’s happening or a refund to be issued if you are unable to supply

  7. Hello,
thank you for this post. Good luck with the insurance process; unexpected events often happen at the worst times.

Nevertheless, in the video, we can see that there is a stock of good quality. Have you started sending out shipments? Are you planning to fulfill others with a longer delivery time?

    Thank you.

  8. some response would tranquilize the clients, I tried email but no response, I think we should unite and make a complaint with a lawyer

    • Hello, I’m in the same situation, no response. I’ll try reaching out to them by phone.

In the video, we can see a lot of production ready for delivery. I don’t understand their attitude of maintaining silence for months.

  9. I find it scandalous not to receive any updates, not even an email or any communication, or even the dispatch of certain orders. Indeed, water damage can occur, but the prevailing silence is another matter.

The loss of customer trust will cause more damage than the flood itself.
